Simply clip the small end of the SlideKick™ to the slide receiver.

The clip should be facing the palm of your hand that is holding the horn. (This is the left side of the slide)

I line up the ends of the clip to be parallel to the slide braces. This keeps the guard out of the way.

The SlideKick™ fits most tenor and bass trombones.
